About

A quiet camera for the way you work.

Every day of work leaves a shape behind — the sprints and the stalls, the long careful passes, the restless corrections. Drawell is a macOS app that catches that shape. Pick a window, pick a duration, pick a style, and simply work. When time is up, one artwork is developed from the way you moved.

One-shot output

There is no live preview, no editing, no parameter tuning. Like a film camera, you shoot and you see what you get. The artwork is developed once, when the session ends — and that is the piece.

Invisible recording

During a session Drawell disappears. No overlay, no HUD, no distraction — a menubar icon is the only sign it is listening. You work normally; the recording never interferes.

Behavior is the medium

Mouse movement, keyboard rhythm, dwells and pauses — the raw material is how you work, never what is on your screen. Seven styles, across a Traditional Media series and an Artist series, give the same behavior different voices: the same hour of work becomes marbled ink in one material and drip painting in another.

Gallery as product

The collection is the experience. Every session hangs in your private museum — timestamped, titled by the window it came from, yours alone on your Mac. Walk through it and you are walking through your own working life, one framed hour at a time.

Drawell requires macOS 13 or later. Artworks are stored locally and can be exported as PNG at any time.
